Jalkio, (and others!)
the answer is to use version 2.3 of EasyDraw which can import CAD 3D
metafiles with ease, though you will find that shading is changed to a
uniform tone of grey.
If you don't have 2.3 you should upgrade through your distributor or
Migraph themselves. Migraph can supply a version 3 to owners who are
registered directly with Migraph.
Good luck
(I have no commercial connection with Migraph)

I find myself in a situation where I would like to know where all my
memory is being used up. Does anyone out there have a utility which
will display the program name and how much/which RAM it is using?
Thanks.

This Newbell program...I'd been thinking of writing one myself but like so
many of the ideas in my head, had not found the time for it. Is this
program PD? If so, can it be sent to me? If not, where may I get it?
And also, since I am quite new to BITNET, USENET and the whole works,
can someone explain what the Binaries and and how I should get to them?

I had a similar problem, using a slightly different address. I have used
this one since, with complete success.

If this has been brought up before, I apologize, but...
There was a virus contained in the first 100 to 150 disks
of the $10 upgrade to Pagestrem 1.8. (If you purchased the
$25.00 upgrade, this does not pertain to you.)
This is directly from the horse's mouth, as it were...the statement
was issued by SoftLogik, Inc. to the ST Report. It the statement it
is refered to as the "key virus." (Anyone hear of this?) Any of the
anti-virus programs should take care of it, but Soft Logik is,
of course, exchanging disks if you are nervous.
Please contact Soft Logik, as I have no further information beyond
that.

I ask ONCE AGAIN. If the STE supports large screen monitors, like the
MONITERMs, can I get the full rez (1024x768) on an OMNIMON Rainbow
multisync. If so, HOW!!!!!
Can someone from Atari PLEASE, PLEASE answer this question?
Can someone from Atari also post the specs on the SIMMs the STE and STACY
are supposed to use?

I understand that used workstation equipment (like tape drives) are
pretty cheap and easy to get. I imagine that a tape drive would
be easy to find on the used workstation market.
I don't know anything about such dealers. Could someone give me
pointers, or pointers to pointers.

Message-ID: <EMV.90Feb12120108@duby.math.lsa.umich.edu>
I put forth the idea of comp.periphs.scsi about a month ago on
comp.periphs and a few other groups. Reaction to the idea was almost
entirely positive, reaction to the name was pretty good. The call for
votes went out to news.announce.newgroups on Feb 9; this means if
the vote passed the group will be created early March.
The idea of a comp.periphs.scsi is to collect all of the hard-won
information about various SCSI peripherals that's uniform across
all platforms. I anticipate a fair amount of cross-posting into
this group from the comp.sys.*.hardware groups.
Please mail votes to
To: emv@math.lsa.umich.edu
with the header
Subject: YES vote on comp.periphs.scsi
or Subject: NO vote on comp.periphs.scsi
I'll collect these, tabluate them, and let you know what the
result is through news.announce.newgroups.
Please redirect followups to comp.periphs for substantive SCSI
discussion, news.groups for formal or procedural issues.

I received the August 18, 1989 release a couple of weeks ago. I assumed
it was the last release. If you find out anything different, please let
me know.
BTW, have you checked for crosslinked files while using Wordperfect. We
used Wordperfect on IBM where I use to work and we always had problems
with cross linked files. Now these problems are appearing on my HD. I've
had duplicte directories appear within the directory that I keep my Text
files; I've also had directories corrupted so that I could return to the
parent directory from the desktop but not within a disk utility program
like DLII.
